STORAGE AND INSTALLATION
The Contractor shall properly protect material and equipment in accordance
with the manufacturers recommended storage procedures, before, during, and
after installation. Stored items shall be protected from the weather and
contamination. During installation, piping and similar openings shall be
capped to keep out dirt and other foreign matter.
1.6
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUALS
The operation and maintenance manuals shall be submitted and approved prior
to commencing onsite tests.
1.6.1
Operation Manual
[Three] [_____] copies of the [manufacturers standard operation manual]
[operation manual in 216 x 279 mm 8-1/2 x 11 inch three-ring binders shall
be provided. Sections shall be separated by heavy plastic dividers with
tabs which identify the material in the section. Drawings shall be folded

x 11 inch plastic pockets with reinforced holes]. The manual shall include:

define the electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems with
their controls, alarms, and safety systems;
