ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum temperature of area to receive wallcovering, before, during, and
after installation, and requirements for conditioning adhesive and
wallcovering shall comply with the wallcovering manufacturer's printed
instructions. However, in no case shall the area temperature be less than
10 degrees C 50 degrees F, 72 hours prior to, during installation, and
until the adhesive is dry. A minimum temperature of 13 degrees C 55
degrees F shall be maintained thereafter. Observe ventilation and safety
procedures specified in the MSDS.
1.5
WARRANTY
Manufacturer's standard performance guarantees or warranties that extend
beyond a one-year period shall be provided.
1.6
EXTRA MATERIALS

NOTE: Extra stock of wallcovering may be required.
If not, delete this paragraph. Extra stock should
be based on anticipated usage. In the absence of
experience data, a minimum of one linear meter for
each 100 lineal meters (one linear foot for each 100
linear feet) installed is suggested.

Provide one linear meter one linear foot of full-width wallcovering of each
pattern and color for each [100] [_____] linear meters [100] [_____] linear
feet of wallcovering installed[, excluding presentation dry erase
wallcovering]. Extra stock shall be of the same manufacturer, type,
pattern, color, and lot number as the installed wallcovering. Provide full
rolls, packed for storage and marked with content, manufacturer's name,
pattern and color name and number and dye lot number. Leave extra stock at
the site at a location as directed by the Contracting Officer.

2.1
WALLCOVERINGS

required and specifications vary, a separate
paragraph Vinyl Wallcovering Type, Fabric
Wallcovering Type, Acoustical Wallcovering Type,
and/or Wallcovering Border Type will be used for
each wallcovering type. Each wallcovering type will
be designated with a letter or number symbol. Use
the same symbols to key wallcovering types to
locations on the drawings and Section 09915 COLOR
SCHEDULE. Delete reference to type symbol if not
used.
As per NFPA 101 for sprinklered buildings, interior
walls and ceiling finishes tested in accordance with
NFPA 286 shall be permitted to be used in lieu of
that required to be Class A in accordance with NFPA
SECTION 09720
