from samples taken from the particular lot furnished. No
cementitious materials shall be used until notice of acceptance
has been given by the Contracting Officer. Cementitious materials
will be subject to check testing from samples obtained at the
source, at transfer points, or at the project site, as scheduled
by the Contracting Officer, and such sampling will be by or under
the supervision of the Government at its expense. Material not
meeting specifications shall be promptly removed from the site of
work.
Air-Entraining Admixture
Air-Entraining Admixture shall be certified for compliance with
all specification requirements.
Accelerators
Accelerators shall be certified for compliance with all
specification requirements.
Other Chemical Admixtures
Other Chemical Admixtures shall be certified for compliance with
all specification requirements.
1.3
UNIT PRICES

NOTE: If Section 01270A MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT is
included in the project specifications, this
paragraph title (UNIT PRICES) should be deleted from
this section and the remaining appropriately edited
subparagraphs below should be inserted into Section
01270A.
With the exception of coring concrete in completed
panels, all costs in connection with this section,
including all materials, will be included in the
payment item(s) specified.
Core recovery percentage for each boring should be a
high number such as 90 to 95, since it is expected
that a competent concrete material is being cored.
The deviation of the core hole should be in relation
to the smallest dimension of the panels that will be
produced for each jobsite.

Coring Concrete in Completed Panels
1.3.1.1
Payment
Payment will be made for costs associated with Coring Concrete in Completed
Panels and backfilling the core holes. This price will constitute full
compensation for mobilizing and demobilizing and furnishing all equipment
and supplies necessary to perform all operations specified. No payment
will be made for coring and backfilling at a location where the coring
reveals the presence of "unacceptable concrete", as specified in paragraph
UNACCEPTABLE CONCRETE IN COMPLETED PANELS. All costs incurred, including
