requirements for hydraulic passenger and freight

GENERAL

NOTE: For NAVFAC projects, any editing of
non-bracketed paragraphs in this specification shall
be approved through the NAVFAC Elevator Program.
The designer will incorporate the following features
into the design and will show in the drawings as
applicable.
1. Complete design of the hoistways, pits, machine
rooms including all structural requirements, sizing,
access, fire-resistant rating, ventilation,
waterproofing and drainage.
