machine and paint shops, aircraft maintenance

operations, aircraft washrack and rinse (corrosion

control) areas, tank farm and fuel transfer areas,

runway and fire training areas, bilge and ballast

water, accidental spills, and contaminated

stormwater runoff.

NOTE: Pumping of influent will mechanically

emulsify oil in water unless a positive displacement

pump or other low emulsifying, de-rated pump is used.

NOTE: Identify site specific atmospheric conditions

that would produce a corrosive environment for

oil-water separator materials so that the proper

protective coatings or corrosion resistant materials

can be provided.
