NOTE:
Sheet metal color will be long lasting such as
anodized aluminum, or baked enamel, and will not be
painted in the field. This does not preclude the
use of natural materials like copper or aluminum
when that is the choice of the designer. Avoid use
of copper where drainage from the copper will pass
over exposed masonry, stonework, or other metal
surfaces.
Galvanized steel will not be permitted as an option
to other metals specified. Galvanized steel may be
specified for temporary structures or where it may
be satisfactory due to climatic conditions. Where
galvanized steel is specified, changes will be made
to the text as follows:
