WOOD MARINE PILES

NOTE: This guide specification covers the
requirements for furnishing all plant, labor,
materials, and equipment, except material and
equipment specified to be furnished by the
Government, and for performing all operations in
connection with the installation of round (treated)
(untreated) (treated and untreated) timber piles and
the testing of such piles for waterfront and other
marine type structures as directed in accordance
with this section of the specifications and the
applicable drawings.
Comments and suggestions on this guide specification
are welcome and should be directed to the technical
proponent of the specification. A listing of
technical proponents, including their organization
designation and telephone number, is on the Internet.
Recommended changes to a UFGS should be submitted as
a Criteria Change Request (CCR).
Use of electronic communication is encouraged.
