NOTE: This guide specification covers the
requirements for a cable TV signal distribution
system within a building or facility.
Comments and suggestions on this guide specification
are welcome and should be directed to the technical
proponent of the specification. A listing of
technical proponents, including their organization
designation and telephone number, is on the Internet.
Recommended changes to a UFGS should be submitted as
a Criteria Change Request (CCR).
Use of electronic communication is encouraged.

NOTE: The system specified herein can be used by
itself, for direct connection to a commercial CATV
provider for signal distribution within the
premises, or in conjunction with UFGS-16785A
TELEVISION SIGNAL RECEPTION SYSTEM, which specifies
head-end equipment and interface with signal
sources, for off-air TV and FM radio reception.
