Throughout this specification requirements are
indicated for a Radio Page and a Wireless Telephone
interface capability and performance features.
These capabilities and features are valid only if
there is a Radio Paging System or a Wireless
Telephone System, or both, that are part of the
project, or are provided by the medical facility.
The system designer should verify that these systems
are available and coordinate the requirements and
interface. If either, or both, of these systems are
not part of the project, or are not available from
the medical facility, then the required Radio Page
and Wireless Telephone capability and performance
need to be deleted throughout the specification.
