context of the project.
For submittals requiring Government approval on Army
projects, a code of up to three characters within
the submittal tags may be used following the "G"
designation to indicate the approving authority.
Codes for Army projects using the Resident
Management System (RMS) are: "AE" for
Architect-Engineer; "DO" for District Office
(Engineering Division or other organization in the
District Office); "AO" for Area Office; "RO" for
Resident Office; and "PO" for Project Office. Codes
following the "G" typically are not used for Navy
projects.
Submittal items not designated with a "G" are
considered as being for information only for Army
projects and for Contractor Quality Control approval
for Navy projects.

SD-02 Shop Drawings

Detail drawings, signed by the Registered Professional Engineer,
consisting of a complete list of equipment and material, including
manufacturer's descriptive and technical literature, catalog cuts,
and installation instructions. Note that the contract drawings
show layouts based on typical detectors. The contractor shall
check the layout based on the actual detectors to be installed and
make any necessary revisions in the detail drawings. Detail
drawings shall also contain complete wiring and schematic diagrams
for the equipment furnished, equipment layout, and any other
details required to demonstrate that the system has been
coordinated and will properly function as a unit.
Wiring for Systems[; G][; G, [_____]]
Detail point-to-point wiring diagram, signed by the Registered
Professional Engineer, showing all points of connection. Diagram
shall include connections between system devices, appliances,
control panels, supervised devices, an all equipment that is
activated or controlled by the panel.
