procedures for setting up equipment are contained in
MIL-HDBK-423. Full MIL-STD-188-125 acceptance

U). Although not addressed in this specification,
fiber optic cable has gained acceptance as an
effective method of transmitting data across the
boundary of shielded enclosures without filtering.
If fiber optic cable is used, describe the waveguide
penetration of the shield in detail. Fiber optic
cable is specified in UFGS-16768A, FIBER OPTIC DATA
TRANSMISSION SYSTEM.
