NOTE: UNS S30400, S40500, and S41000 are low
strength alloys suitable for use in welded
assemblies. UNS S21800 is an intermediate strength
alloy with excellent anti-galling characteristics.
UNS S17400 and S45000 are high strength alloys.
Welding of UNS S21800, S17400, and S45000 should be
avoided.
