Nonshrink grout for use in setting base plates and machinery shall conform
to ASTM C 1107, Grade [_____], and shall be a commercial formulation
suitable for the application proposed.

Packaged Dry Repair Materials
Packaged dry rapid-hardening cementitious materials for concrete repairs
shall be a commercial formulation conforming to ASTM C 928 requiring only
the addition of water.
2.1.8
Bonding Agents
Bonding agents shall meet the following requirements.

Epoxy Resin
Epoxy resins for use in repairs shall conform to ASTM C 881/C 881M, Type V,
Grade I or II.

Surface Retarder
Surface retarder shall conform to COE CRD-C 94.
2.2
MIXTURE PROPORTIONING

2.2.1
Concrete shall be composed of cementitious materials, water, fine and
coarse aggregates, and admixtures. The cementitious materials shall be
[portland cement], [portland cement in combination with pozzolan],
[portland cement in combination with [_____]], [portland blast-furnace slag
cement] [portland cement in combination with ground granulated
blast-furnace slag] [portland cement in combination with silica fume]
[portland-pozzolan cement]. The admixture shall be an air-entraining
admixture [or an air-entraining admixture plus] [a retarding admixture], [a
WRA], [a HRWRA], [or an accelerating admixture]. A retarding admixture may
be used at the request of the Contractor when approved. No other chemical
admixtures than those listed above shall be used.
2.2.2
Proportioning Responsibility
