NOTE: This guide specification covers the
requirements for stationary diesel-driven generator
sets in the 100 to 2500 kilowatt capacity.
Comments and suggestions on this guide specification
are welcome and should be directed to the technical
proponent of the specification. A listing of
technical proponents, including their organization
designation and telephone number, is on the Internet.
Recommended changes to a UFGS should be submitted as
a Criteria Change Request (CCR).
Use of electronic communication is encouraged.

NOTE: This Specification is not for Procurement of
Gas-fueled Engine-generator Sets.
Transient-load-response performance characteristics
of natural gas, digester gas, propane, and liquefied
petroleum gas engines differ significantly from
differences. Consult manufacturers for sample
specifications.
Select the features and fill in blanks with values
appropriate for the design condition. This
specification does not apply to 400 Hz applications.
