an ozone depletion potential (ODP) less than or
equal to 0.05. R-22, R-123 and R-134a all meet this
requirement. R-22 is the most commonly used
refrigerant.

have number designations and safety classifications in accordance with
ASHRAE 34. Refrigerants shall meet the requirements of ARI 700 as a
