MANUFACTURER'S FIELD SERVICE
3.5.1
Onsite Training

The Contractor shall conduct training courses for the plant operating staff
as designated by the Contracting Officer. The training period shall
consist of a total of [_____] hr of normal working time and shall commence
after the system is functionally completed, but prior to final acceptance.

starting, stopping, and servicing the equipment, as well as all major

3.5.2
Field Engineer
The manufacturer or contractor shall furnish a qualified engineer to
supervise the complete installation of the engine, assist in performance of
the onsite tests, and instruct personnel regarding operational and
maintenance features of the equipment.
3.6
FIELD PAINTING
Field painting shall be as specified in Section [09900 PAINTS AND COATINGS]
[09964 PAINTING: HYDRAULIC STRUCTURES].
3.7
ACCEPTANCE
Final acceptance of the engine will not be made until the Contractor has
successfully completed all tests, corrected all defects in installation
material, and/or installation procedures, and all deficiencies identified
in on-site testing or routine operation have been corrected. The
Contractor shall submit As-Built Drawings as specified in the Submittals
paragraph before contract closing.
