HANGERS

Hangers and attachment shall support a minimum 1330 N 300 pound ultimate
vertical load without failure of supporting material or attachment.
2.3.1
Wires

NOTE: Select stainless steel or nickel copper alloy
wire for facilities where high humidity can be
expected such as large kitchens, dishwashing areas,
indoor swimming pools, etc. Select zinc-coated
steel wire for other locations.
When spacing of hanger wires exceeds 1200 mm (4
feet) or when heavy loads are supported, 3.4 or 4.1
mm (8 or 10 gage) wire should be specified.

Wires shall conform to [ASTM A 641/A 641M, Class 1, [2.7] [_____] mm

1008Mwith an electrodeposited zinc coating conforming to ASTM B 633, Type

Rods
