NOTE: This guide specification covers the
requirements for interior and exterior plaster work.
Comments and suggestions on this guide specification
are welcome and should be directed to the technical
proponent of the specification. A listing of

Recommended changes to a UFGS should be submitted as
a Criteria Change Request (CCR).

NOTE: Gypsum plaster refers to interior work.
Stucco refers to cement plaster used on the building
exterior. The extent and location of the work to be
accomplished, and the type of plaster required

NOTE: Specification requirements of a one-coat
system are interior applications for Puerto Rico.
The one-coat system is Portland cement plaster with
a sand float finish applied to concrete masonry
units and concrete surfaces.
