sheet thickness will be selected from plastic sheet
manufacturer's catalogs.
Acrylic-plastic is a combustible material and should
not be used in areas where exposure to fire would
create a hazard condition.

Extruded Polycarbonate Profiled Sheet

Bullet-resisting acrylic sheet is listed by UL for
MSA rating only and is 25.4 mm one inch thick.
Bullet-resisting polycarbonate sheet is listed for
MSA 25.4 mm one inch and for HSA and SSA ratings
31.8 mm 1 1/4 inch. Consult manufacturers for exact
thicknesses and availability.

special interlayer, and listed in UL 752 as bullet resisting, Class [I]

2.4
SETTING AND SEALING MATERIALS
Provide as specified in the GANA Glazing Manual, SIGMA TM-3000, SIGMA
TB-3001, and manufacturer's recommendations, unless specified otherwise
herein. Do not use metal sash putty, nonskinning compounds, nonresilient
preformed sealers, or impregnated preformed gaskets. Materials exposed to
view and unpainted shall be gray or neutral color.
