Fire Safety
Roof deck shall have been tested as a part of a roof deck construction
assembly of the type used for this project, shall be listed as fire
classified in the UL Bld Mat Dir, or listed as Class I construction in the
FM P7825, and so labeled.

Wind Storm Resistance

The roof construction assembly shall be capable of withstanding an uplift

when tested in accordance with the uplift pressure test described in the FM
DS 1-28 or as described in UL 580 and in general compliance with UFC

bearing on supports, methods of anchoring, attachment of accessories,
adjusting plate details, size and location of holes to be cut and
reinforcement to be provided, the manufacturer's erection instructions and
other pertinent details.
