Sampling
As soon as epoxy resin and aggregate materials are available for sampling,
samples by designated name, specification number, batch number, project
contract number, intended use and quantity involved.

Testing

Inspection

Check each repaired area for cracks, spalls, popouts and loss of bond
between repaired area and surrounding concrete. Check each repaired area
for voids by tapping with a hammer or steel rod and listening for dull or
hollow sounds. Immediately repair defects.

3.12.5.1
Air Content
Check air content at least [once] [twice] during each shift that concrete
is placed [for each type and class of repair material required]. Obtain
samples in accordance with ASTM C 172 and test in accordance with ASTM C 231.

Slump
Check slump [once] [twice] during each shift that concrete is produced [for
each type and class of repair material required]. Obtain samples in
accordance with ASTM C 172 and test in accordance with ASTM C 143/C 143M.
3.12.5.3
Ensure that the repair material is properly consolidated, finished,
protected, and cured.
3.12.5.4
Compression Tests
Prepare compression test cubes in accordance with ASTM C 31/C 31M and cure
