The concrete mixture shall match that of the existing concrete to be
repaired unless otherwise directed and shall be designed in accordance with

Detail Drawings
The Contractor shall submit detail drawings conforming to ACI SP-66 and ACI
elements in the work, building elevations, formwork fabrication details,
reinforcements, embedments, dimensions, concrete strength, interface with
adjacent materials, and special placing instructions, in sufficient detail
to cover fabrication, placement, stripping, and finishing.
1.4
UNIT PRICES

1.4.1
Measurement of Concrete
The quantity of concrete to be paid for will be the number of cubic meters
cubic feet placed in the completed and accepted renovated areas.
1.4.2
Payment for Concrete
The quantity of concrete, measured as specified, will be paid for at the
contract unit price. The unit price for concrete will include full
compensation for furnishing labor; materials; tools and equipment; and for
performing work involved in repair of the areas as specified.
1.5
QUALIFICATIONS
The Contractor shall provide qualified workers trained and experienced in
restoration of concrete in historic structures for at least 5 consecutive
years. A list of similar jobs shall be provided identifying when, where,
and for whom the work was done.
1.6
EQUIPMENT
Equipment that is dependable and adequate to accomplish the specified work
shall be assembled at the work site in sufficient time before the start of
the work to permit thorough inspection, calibration of weighing and
may be required. The equipment shall be maintained in acceptable working
condition during the life of the project.
