Sealing and painting shall be performed in accordance with the painting
schedule and with the requirements of Section 09964 PAINTING: HYDRAULIC
STRUCTURES. The clean, dry metallized surface shall be the receiving
surface for the specified paint systems.

METALLIZING SYSTEMS AND METALLIZING SCHEDULE

NOTE: By inserting specific item component names or
surface description in the blank spaces provided in
the tabulation, the metallizing to be done on a
project can be shown in schedule form. Alternately,
the metallizing system number can be shown on the
applicable drawings.
The number assigned to each metallizing system in
the listing should not be changed locally, even
though on specific projects some systems are
omitted. If other systems are added locally, they
should be assigned numbers other than those used in
this guide.
