Anchor Head
Anchor head shall consist of steel bearing plate with nut. Anchorage
devices shall be capable of developing 95 percent of the guaranteed
ultimate strength of prestressing steel. The anchorage devices shall
conform to the static strength requirements of Section 3.1.6 (1) and
Section 3.1.8 (1) and (2) of PTI A. [Threaded anchorage items for epoxy
coated bars shall be designed to fit over the epoxy coating and maintain
the capacity of the prestressing steel.]
