Chemical admixtures to be used, when required or permitted, shall conform
to the appropriate specification listed.

Air-Entraining Admixture
The air-entraining admixture shall conform to ASTM C 260.

Grout Fluidifier
Grout fluidifier shall conform to ASTM C 937.
2.1.3.3
Water-Reducing or Retarding Admixtures
Water-reducing or retarding admixtures shall meet the requirements of ASTM
C 494/C 494M, Type A, B, or D, except that the 6-month and 1-year
compressive strength tests are waived.

Curing Materials
2.1.4.1
Impervious-Sheet Curing Materials
Impervious-sheet curing materials shall conform to ASTM C 171, type
optional, except polyethylene film shall not be used.
2.1.4.2
Membrane-Forming Curing Compound
Membrane-forming curing compound shall meet the requirements ofASTM C 309,
Type 1-D or 2, except a styrene acrylate or chlorinated rubber compound
meeting Class B requirements shall be used for surfaces that are to be
painted. The curing compound selected shall be compatible with any
